“Isanjung Lee·Held an agreement to utilize the Zunjing Culture House”

On June 23, in Isanjeong, located in Gwimiri, Iljik-myeon, Andong-si

We held an agreement ceremony to utilize Isanjeong and Jaungjeong as cultural houses.

Over the years, the houses of Andong have always kept pace with the needs of the times and protected our region.

One of them, Isanjeong, was built as a teaching space for Chak Am Kim Do Hwa, but was later used as an outpost for the independence movement.

The pavilion was built by Dr. Daeshun Kim Gyun for reading and teaching his descendants and was listed as a cultural heritage site in Andong in May 2023.

The Mirae Cultural Foundation is working with Andong City to revitalize old houses and foster professional old house tourism workers, called old house managers, starting in 2022.

Through this utilization agreement, the Isanjeong and Jaungjeong will be utilized by professional home managers and revitalized as a cultural space,

We will do our best to beautify the landscape of Andong.
