The history of the old house

  • Jangtaesagong Seonggokjaesa Ritual House was built in 1806 and rebuilt in 1853 to protect the altar of Andong Jang Clan Jang Jeong-pil and hold ancestral rites.
  • It is a relatively large-scale ritual house that takes the form of arrangement of Hyanggyo and Seowon, which has rarely appeared since the mid-19th century, and the wooden buildings are well preserved in the style of the time.
  • Consisting of Yeonghuiru, Administrative Office, Chuwonjae, Study, Dongjae, and bathroom.
